I am a wife, TV Host, Beauty & Style Expert, Humanitarian and Empowerment Coach to women of all ages. Why did I start this blog and webseries? It’s pretty simple…I want women to love themselves! Really, truly, passionately love and accept themselves. Can you imagine a world full of confident women who are filled with love and passion? WATCH OUT WORLD!
Being from Texas means that I’m a little bit tomboy, a little bit girlie-girl and a whole lot of spitfire. On any random day, I can be seen rockin’ a pair of stiletto Louboutins or knockin’ around in Nikes. As a third generation “product junkie” and former international model, I decided to combine my love for the beauty and style industry and working in front of the camera with my passion to empower women by creating my own webseries, Sanctuary of Style, which I host and produce myself. With the launch of Oprah’s new network, I became one of twenty finalists for the reality series, Your OWN Show- in which I pitched my show idea directly to Mark Burnett, Executive Producer of Survivor and The Apprentice. This was the kick-in-the-butt I needed to step into my purpose! I began filming my own video content and eventually created a Youtube Channel which currently has a loyal fan-base of subscribers from all over the globe. My dream is to graduate the webseries into a bona fide TV series!
On SOS, I share my two-cents, tips and tricks on everything women are interested in from beauty, skincare, shopping, personal style, health, wellness and spiritual nourishment which I call “inner beauty” tips. True beauty radiates from the inner light that shines from our spirit! A great haircut, fitting into our skinny jeans and rockin’ the latest LV handbag is fabulous, but without a radiant and peaceful spirit, those external things really do not matter. It is all about the dual-approach which ultimately creates genuine, lasting beauty. I have gone through several trials and obstacles in life which did a royal number on my self-esteem. For many years I did not love myself, had low self-worth and lived a shame-based existence. By the Grace of God, my “mess” has become my message! I am now on a mission to help other women get there as well. So, I thank you for joining me on this journey to be your most glorious, fabulous, stunning, gorgeous, peaceful and empowered self. High five and a hip bump! Cha cha cha!
When I’m not in front of the camera, I turn into a bohemian hippie chick and love collecting vintage accessories, hiking, watching old movies, cooking for friends and taking road trips. I make a mean homemade popcorn and my skinny rita’s blow Bethenny’s away. Just sayin’! I also make it a priority to volunteer my time to philanthropic causes close to my heart as well as leading a women’s spiritual empowerment group and prayer circle of industry professionals. My hubby, Australian singer-songwriter husband Aaron Hendra is my knight and we reside in Los Angeles with our very high-maintenance long-haired Chihuahua, Zoe.
