Think about it! I’m not going to give you my two-cents on it…I just want you to ponder this: 


How do you plan to STRUT IT this week?

If your Negative Nellie is taking over and winding you up into complaining about how you hate Monday’s- ignore her and stick your fingers in your ears and go LaLaLaLaLa! I allowed her to take over last week and I realized it was because I needed to unplug from the world and get quiet. I was running on empty! So, my hubby and I took a weekend STAYCATION! I went offline and tried to stay off the computer as much as possible. Kept my phone on silent and actually read 2 whole books. WHAT? Yes, I got still enough to read without distraction. It’s been a while! We watched old classic films with homemade popcorn and just enjoyed one another’s presence. The only time we left the house was for church. Highly recommend it! This is why I harp on the importance of taking “ME” time. Women act like they are the energizer bunny, but that’s a surefire way to get sick, depressed and hit total burnout. Now, I realize we don’t have kids so it’s easy to plan this so plan a weekend staycation and send the kids to their grandparents or  friends house. There is something beautiful about creating a zen like atmosphere in your home especially when it’s usually loud & chaotic.
