February is in full swing and I just have to share my latest adventure with you. When I moved to Dallas, people immediately started asking how I got my career started as a TV Host and YouTuber. I began coaching talented people -on the side- who were serious about putting in the work and was hooked. So last year, I added on-camera/ image/ media workshops to my vision board to expand on the private coaching. The beauty of a vision board is that it’s a daily reminder of your goal and dream. The image triggers our subconscious prompting us to think, act and get a result.

I just love teaching/guiding/mentoring regardless if it’s lifestyle mentoring women or helping others reach their goal of working on-camera! This proved to me, once again, that dreams do not have expiration dates. When I was a little girl, the first thing I ever wanted to be was a teacher. I would “play school” with my cousins and I had to be the teacher. Anyone relate? At this point in life, here I am fulfilling a dream from so long ago.

The most important thing about a vision is the action you put behind it. I could talk about starting workshops until I was blue in the face. I had to go for it and take that baby step. Any time we do something new, there’s that little nagging internal voice that whispers, “who are you to think you can do this? are you sure you are a good teacher? what if nobody signs up?” That’s when I take my own advice and tell my Negative Nellie to shut her trap!

We’re approaching the 3rd week of my first 6-week hosting course and I’m truly blown away at the remarkable people in class. Each of these brave souls had to take that baby step and join this class despite any of their own fears. I’m inspired by each of them and realized that teaching is a gift on many levels. I’m giving them the tools and info they need to sharpen their craft, but at the same time I’m receiving so much from them.

Their courage makes me want to be more courageous.

Their hard work inspires me to work harder. 

With my theme of 2015 being to live bigger and shine brighter, I encourage you to take that first baby step. Even if we step with our knees shaking- just do it! With every step after that, our vision and destiny comes into sharper view and miracles really do happen. Keep focusing on your strengths, gifts and unique talents. There is a reason you have the personality you do. There is a reason you have the desires you have. There is a reason you have the style you have. There is a reason you are naturally good at certain things. When there is synergy with all your gifts….your destiny and purpose unfolds. How exciting is that! 

I’m thrilled to expand these workshops even more and include image workshops which will be like SOS Live! Stay tuned for that.
