LIFESTYLE SERIES WEEK 3: Go Green To Get More Energy [New Video]

Are you still hanging in there with me or have you resorted back to your typical crappy morning routine that leaves you lethargic, moody, sleepy and sluggish like you have a hippopotamus hanging from your neck? Who wants to feel like they have an extra ton dragging them down? NOT ME!

I know, I know…I sound a bit preachy with all of this, but it’s more passion than preachy or even cheerleader-ish. I was a cheerleader back in the day and never lost the loud voice. LOL. But, the fact is cheerleaders can really get on your damn nerves with all the rah-rah. I digress. Back to passion. I am deeply, obsessively passionate about women living life on a higher level. Perhaps it’s because the women in my family didn’t have healthy role models and I was heading down that same slippery slope with poor self body image, eating disorders and anti-depressants.

JUST SAY NO!

We’re on week 3 of my lifestyle series and I want to know how you’re feeling. Have you tried the TeaMi detox and the lemon/ACV water?  Let me know and leave a comment. Ok, we’re on to the next thing I swear by in the morning. It’s easy, it’s green, it packs a punch. This is the recipe I have fallen in love with, but there are a million recipes you can try.

CHECK THIS OUT:

Why Spinach?

Spinach is high in niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. It’s loaded with good things for every part of your body! Rich in antioxidants keeps cholesterol from oxidizing and protect your body from free radicals, particularly in the colon. The folate in spinach is good for your healthy cardiovascular system, and magnesium helps lower high blood pressure. Studies also have shown that spinach helps maintain your vigorous brain function, memory and mental clarity.

Why Strawberries?

Strawberries are an excellent source of antioxidant-promoting vitamin C and manganese. They are also a very good source of dietary fiber, iodine and folate. Plus, strawberries are a good source of copper, potassium, biotin, phosphorus, magnesium, vitamin B6 and omega-3 fatty acids. They boost immunity, decrease wrinkles (heck, yea!!), fight bad cholesterol and lowers blood pressure.

I mentioned in the video my love for blueberries, turmeric and cayenne. Some people like switching out the almond milk for coconut water for increased hydration. If you have a yummy, green, low sugar, high antioxidant smoothie recipe– please share it with us in the comment area!

Remember, sharing is caring.

Comment. Like. Share.

It’s very simple. I just want you to feel your best. I’m proud to be your personal cheerleader. TOE TOUCH!
