My normal go-to lip color is a nude pink, but I love to rock a red lip in Fall/Winter and add a pop of color to the dreary days. In case you’re not on Instagram- I wanted to make sure all of you sisters know about my girlfriend’s special this week. To show her love during Valentine’s, Lisa Cakar of PerfectPoutz.com is offering 50% OFF all the REDS in each collection. Prices are already marked down so you do not need a code.
Perfect Poutz is the ONLY lip products I’m using now. A few weeks ago, I actually threw out about 12 tubes of my old go-to brand that is made in China. I could taste and smell the toxic ingredients. UGH! The ingredients in Perfect Poutz are like skincare for your lips and this is the first winter I have not had cracked bleeding lips. WooHoo! The range of colors are the best I’ve ever seen, too.
LIST OF REDS:
•Desire (I’m wearing in photo)
SILKY LIP CREME
•Light My Fire
SILKY LIP CREME MATTE
SILKY LIP CREME MATTE METALLIC
•Heat (check out my Instastory #beauty highlight)
My love of lip products is the reason Perfect Poutz was created. A year in the making, I was determined to take my time to sample and test a variety of glosses, lipsticks, and various lip products. I have sourced and will continue to source a variety of some of the most unique formulas from various manufacturers in my quest to find products that were hydrating, rich in pigment, long lasting with quality ingredients and kindness to animals… all proudly made here in the USA.

Happy Valentine’s Week! Xx
Just do yourself a favor and watch this when you have some time alone. Get quiet, hear every single word and let it sink in.
You are SHE.
I am SHE.
We are SHE.
Yesterday, I posted the above quote on my Instagram and Facebook and WHOA- it struck a chord with many so I thought you ladies should hear it too.
Go do you boo.
Stay in your lane.
There is enough pie for everyone. (and then some!)
One of the very 1st new friends I made when I moved to Dallas was the amazing Abi Ferrin. You know that rare chance when you meet someone and your eyes lock in as to say, “I know you.. I get you.. I see you”? That’s how meeting Abi was. She’s a fellow mission-driven entrepreneur who is as crazy passionate as I am about empowering women. So, what do 2 like-minded women do? We start a group, a sister circle, a safe space to do just that —
A few months ago, after talking about it for way too long- we finally jumped in and started this monthly group. Abi offered her store as our meeting spot which is total perfection because it’s centrally located near restaurants with valet and plenty of parking. Our intention is to get a conversation started, to help women use their voice, to see things differently and then leave thinking — Hmmmm, how can I apply this to my life?
Abi is not- I repeat- is not using this as a means to get people in to shop so please do not feel like you have to spend money or shop at these meetings!
This month our focus is on Making Self-Care As A Priority. Such a great topic as we begin the new year and especially after I’ve been traveling the outback for nearly 3 weeks and in desperate need of greens (DANG– Aussies love them some bread and pastries!), a facial, sleep, mani/pedi and a massage.
Hear from Abi’s yoga instructors from Yana Shala:
From the intention of manifesting your own inner teacher and personal voice, we’ll guide you step by step through the different phases of exploration and development in a safe and nurturing environment.
There’s no right, no wrong, no one method that fits all, but rather an opportunity to explore the right formula for you and your true uniqueness.
We’ll hold the space and time for you for that incredible inner journey of self-empowerment and discovery, providing you with an array of tools gathered from ancient and modern knowledge and modalities, applied to today’s world, including but not limited to, yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and aromatherapy.
Glean from the wisdom of Health Coach + Fitness Trainer, Marzia Prince:

A tool that has helped me stay on track along with a vision board and goal/intention setting is my WORD OF THE YEAR. I think I started this 7-8 years ago, but I can’t quite remember. I do know that it has created a powerful foundation or an anchor for my year.
The definition of foundation is an underlying basis or principle for something; a basis (such as a tenet or principle) upon which something stands or is supported.
I get so excited about my WOTY that I started mulling, praying and meditating over it a few months ago. The word OVERFLOW kept coming to me in messages, podcasts, books, conversations with friends, etc. Originally, I learned the meaning of this on a spiritual level from the Bible verse John 10:10 [amp version] which is one of my life verses:
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
It makes total sense as I look back over 2017 and all the outstanding doors that God opened. Tears come to my eyes as I write this because I’m truly in awe of God’s goodness. It humbles me to think how much He loves us. Receiving has not always been easy for me and I sometimes doubt my “worthiness” for such love and blessings. Like many of you, I had to overcome major struggles and strongholds in my life. Healing has taken place (little x little) and I’m happy to report that my arms are wide open to receive ALL that God has for me. I am His beloved baby girl and so are you.
Back to “the” word. Overflow. One thing I have had to work hard to overcome is the lack and scarcity mentality that was passed down to me from family and also from my own issues with my worth and value. Let’s look back at John 10:10 — God sent His Son so that we may experience freedom and enjoy life BIGTIME. I mean, enjoy it and be so full of love, joy, peace, excitement, beauty, happiness, health that it overflows!! When we live in the state of overflow we have a good supply to give out to others.
We are ALL meant to live in the overflow.
So – why do we choose to live at a deficit, exhausted, depleted, starving? I admit, I lived like that for years, well- actually for more than half my life. NO MORE. I say no to scarcity. I say no to just enough. I say no to starving. I say no to running on fumes. In sharing this concept with one of my spectacular coaching clients, I came across a cool message about all this:
A BETTER NEW YEAR’S RITUAL
by Christine Kane
When you choose a word to guide you through your year, it becomes your touchstone.
It reminds you not just what you want to DO but also of who you want to BE.
This doesn’t mean you don’t take action. It simply means that your actions are now inspired from the BE level. In fact, you’ll probably take more action than ever.
That’s because choosing a word is tapping into intention. And intention is unfathomably powerful. Resolutions are fine, but they often come from our minds and, as such, are motivated by lots of “SHOULD’s.” They are task items, waiting to be checked off. Which means they are rarely inspiring and have little motivation to offer after a week or so.
A WORD, however, contains energy and images and meaning.
These are things our hearts and souls can get excited about.
And this is how transformation begins.
Now that I’ve shared my experience and the reason for doing the happy dance for the word overflow, it’s time for you to get clear on your intention for 2018 and frame it with one powerful, foundational word. Here’s a list to help you get started, but please go beyond this list if one does not stand out to you. Pay attention to how each word makes you feel:
Please make a comment and share your word here then text it to your mastermind group or close friend who can help keep you accountable to your WOTY!
Cheers to an overflowing 2018 and remember to………

Your inbox is being flooded with messages of new year, new you… making resolutions (ugh!)… intention setting and how you are going to be better this year than you were last year. I’ll spare you. Although I am a believer in all of those (minus the resolutions because I work better with the idea of goals and intentions), I have just one word for you…
Rock your goals. Rock your life. Rock your relationships. Rock your brand. Rock your self-development. Rock your workouts. Rock your health. Rock your self-care. Rock your thoughts. Rock your walk. Rock your talk. Rock your mission. Rock your message. Rock your prayers. Rock your outfits. Rock those red boots. I think you get the message.
GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO BE A ROCKSTAR IN 2018.
We are starting off the new year in Australia for family summer fun (yes, it’s summer there – woohoo!) and to celebrate my man’s 45th birthday. We will be mid-air over the Pacific Ocean tonight as the new year begins. What a powerful and symbolic way to begin 2018. Elevated!
We will be unplugging and slowing down in order to speed up!
Highly recommend it.
Consecrating the 1st part of the year just as I do with the 1st part of my day.
Give it to God and He will bless the rest.
Excited to offer more impactful workshops next year and I will have openings for 2 new private coaching clients beginning in Feb. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for rates and packages.
Sending you gratitude for being part of my 2017 and I look forward to rocking the new year together. I pray you are crazy blessed and experience mind-blowing success in 2018.
