I have to say, my firstFashion’s Night Outin LA far exceeded my expectations. I mean, what’s more awesome than mixing up my fave things: Fashion, Friends and tons of Fun!?! From the Beverly Center to a hoppin’ party at Hale Bob, hosted by stylist extraordinaire, Laurie Graham, the night was total perfection! Did you attend any festivities in your city? One of my dear bestie’s, Vio Meyners ofVioletartistry, and I started our girl’s night in the Sanctuary. Our fashion statement for the night was to ROCKSOMECOLOR!
Had to share the GORG clutch I was drooling over last night at one of my fave stores, Henri Bendel. A leopard clutch is my new must have! Add it to the list girls. MEOWWW!

How is your October going so far? I love the change of season- even though we don’t get much of it here in Cali- there is still a refreshing change in the air, chillier mornings, everyone’s watching football (except for me) and pumpkins are for sale at the grocery store. BTW, don’t forget one of my fave facials on the planet is the Pumpkin Facial – so after the kids are finished carving pumpkins- take the left overs and add a little honey and lemon. Your skin will glow! I promise.
NEW WEBISODE:
In the latest SOS webisode, I take you on my photoshoot for the amazing fitness wear company, OTOMIX– my all time fave workout clothes! We had a blast on the shoot. I got to work with so many dear friends including actress/model/mommy blogger- Camille Anderson and Vio Meyners beautifying us with her makeup brilliance! When I moved to LA, Otomix was the first casting my modeling agent sent me on a little over 10 years ago. If you look through old catalogs, I have every hair color and hair length imaginable-SCARY! My fave items in the line are the PANTS! Seriously, I have a few pair that are about 5-8 years old and they look brand new. You know how faded black yoga pants can start looking after a few months? NOT THE OTOMIX PANTS! They hold their shape and color- PLUS, if you have long legs and find it tough to find workout pants long enough- then you have to try their lycra pants!
My friends at Otomix and I decided to give away one of my fave jumpsuits from the DAZZLE GROUP. The fabric is so comfy and the pants make everyone’s bootie look so cute:-)
As many of us are in the quest to reach our goal weight and optimal fitness- how far is too far? Can a woman get too ripped?

In this candid, behind-the-scenes webisode, Plus Size Expert Marcy Guevara and Makeup Artist Vio Meyners chat about whether or not female TV Hosts should reveal their bare arms on camera. They bring up how ripped Kelly Ripa’s arms are and if that makes her unrelatable to viewers.

Here’s my two cents:
I actually love a sexy, toned, muscular arm on a woman! Over the years, I have gone through phases where I wanted really rock hard arms then decided I like the way yoga kept my arms long and lean without the bulk. I gain muscle really easy and have to be careful with weights. At the end of the day, we all have to be able to look at ourselves in the mirror and like that chick staring back at us. Whether you prefer a more soft, womanly appearance or a strong, muscular look- DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! But, remember keeping our arms toned now will help how we look when we’re older. You know the old arm wave and the bra overhang is not so pretty!

As I write this, I am gearing up for a fun girlie day of shopping and getting my hair done (honestly, I hate sitting in the salon chair) to get “purdy” for my B-day weekend coming up. I have no clue what the festivities will be, but I know my honey and friends have something up their sleeve! I want to hear how YOUR summer has been so leave a COMMENT BELOW and let us all know! In the latest webisode, I wanted to try something a little different and bought the newer version of the FLIP camera in HD. That lil thing rocks! Highly recommend you get one to record fun occasions with fam and friends! They’re inexpensive and very user friendly. Ok, back to the subject… I decided to tape my lovely Go-to-Girl, Vio Meyners in a typical day of ours. We start with a workout, play in her closet, head to an audition, lunch and tape an SOS webisode with Marcy Guevara (coming soon!!).
Just FYI, no- I do not go around looking this made up on a daily basis unless I have auditions or meetings! The tomboy is still very alive in me and on most days, I’m sporting track pants and tennis shoes! Hope you enjoy a glimpse into my life. You know I LOVE talking about clothes, shoes, accessories and all that jazz, but what we have on UNDERNEATH our fabulous outfit is just as important. The undergarment business is huge with more selection than ever!
In order for your tops to fit their best, you must wear the appropriate bra!
For that beautiful dress to flow just right on your hips and accent the silhouette, you should wear Spanx or some sort of Shapewear.
For low-slung jeans, you should wear panties that lay flat on your skin and have a lower rise in the crotch.
For the sundress that you can’t wear a bra with, you have a few options for self-adhesive covers.
Our bodies, our boobies and our booties come in all shapes and sizes so find what works best for you! I’m giving you a rundown of my fav’s and what works for me.
