Hey Chicas!
Grab a cup of coffee, tea or a kale smoothie (wink) and your iPad and have some girl time with me. This is the very 1st motivational vlog of the 2015 and this time I’m giving you a list of 5 things to stop doing instead of adding more things to your to-do list this year. As we all plan to go bigger and elevate every aspect of our life we have to get rid of and grow out of behaviors that hold us back from being our ultimate best!
The heartfelt comments women are leaving on this video have inspired me and deepened my passion for the purpose of SOS. Women around the world are being braver than ever right now and stepping into their destiny.

Are you bored with the topic of gratitude yet? Everywhere you turn this month people are talking/posting/tweeting about the subject. WooHoo…that makes me very very happy especially for you cynical sistas who think it’s all just a rah rah month long pep rally. Those are the people who need the reminders most. Never underestimate the power of a grateful heart. By the end of the year, I need this reminder as well. October was a challenging month and I felt myself slipping into my whiny complaining mode. It’s a slippery slope that begins the minute we begin to talk about our problems & burdens more than we talk about our blessings. The pollution began to cloud my mind and judgement. Duh! Stop counting your burdens Tiff. Who feels me?
If you’ve been on the SOS Facebook Page at all this month you have seen my gratitude posts. I’ve got to tell you- focusing on fine tuning my gratitude practice has been a beautiful experience. After a difficult month in October, this month has been down right glorious. Yes, I said glorious! How about you? Did you join in on the 30 Day Gratitude Challenge? It’s not magic. It takes deliberate focus and a mental shift which leads to a daily practice and lifestyle. I never share or teach concepts that I haven’t worked through myself. I began years ago with a simple, childlike gratitude list which expanded to the details of why I was grateful for something. Check out some of the Facebook posts. Try it. Please.

Who is going to take this assignment seriously? I want to hear all about what you did for YOU this weekend and how it felt to “fill” yourself up. Remember, let go of the guilt and flip your thinking if you find that “me time” leaves you feeling selfish. You are actually doing your family & friends a disservice by not taking care of yourself. Living in the overflow will allow you to give- without resentment– to those who need you.
