47 IS THE NEW 37: My 90 Day Transformation

HELLO GORGEOUS!

I shared this exciting transformation on IG last week and wanted to share it here on the blog, too. So many women are exhausted and battling this hormone journey.  We are all in this together and I want everyone to feel better! (Remember, my “feel good so we look good” mantra from a few years ago?!?)

Stay tuned for an IGTV video explaining the intermittent fasting more, but it’s really simple. Only 3 days a week, I eat for 8 hours (12noon to 8pm) then fast for 16.

Also, many women asked on IG — but, I’m no longer getting the testosterone pellet and keep experiencing amazing results with the HGH gel so I doubt I will need to get back on bioidentical hormones. Yay!

I’m so excited to finally share this 🙌🏼 A few yrs ago, my body was shutting down due to stress and drinking too much. (Yep, Fireball was my poison of choice and it is literally poison!).

I went into stage 4 adrenal fatigue plus turning 45 that year didn’t help the hormone sitch. I have had an 8+ lbs stuck to me like Elmer’s Glue, I was moody and cloudy headed. Flooded my body with testosterone pellets, progesterone and NaturThroid without first addressing the adrenal issue. What an exhausting journey!!!

Striped it all back in the beginning of 2018 including no alcohol for 6 months — to focus on my gut health, healing my adrenals and balancing my hormones. Praying to God I could eventually fit back into half my closet!

Happy to report that I tried on ALL of my jeans yesterday and they fit again. Hallelujah! (I’m not good with scales so I rather judge by my jeans.) My energy and stamina is through the roof and my brain is working again. (Hello, my first online course is completed!)

What did I change?
1. I started intermittent fasting 3-4 times a week and love it!

I refuse to subscribe to that “Oh well, your body starts shutting down over 45” crap! God gives us a calling and purpose so we must do our part in caring for our temple so we’re strong + sharp to carry out that assignment!

You never “retire” when you’re living your calling and I plan to help women use their ladyballs until I’m in my 80’s! 👊🏼

I shared this berry smoothie on social media a few days ago and it got people talking so I wanted to make sure you blog sistas got it too. When I was in my early 30’s, I suffered from hormonal cystic acne around my chin. I was left with some scarring, a lighter wallet from wasting money on dermatologists and emotional anguish because my face was part of how I made a living in front of the camera.   • Serving of your favorite vanilla whey or pea protein powder
  • 6 Chopped Medium Strawberries
  • 2 Small Handfuls of Blueberries
  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper
  • For additional antioxidants, add spinach and a tablespoon of coconut oil.
